You must have wisdom enough to cast aside even the idea of a “God” since the very word or concept is a limitation. False uses throughout time, especially the Judeo-Christian Era, are a misnomer, a false belief. So you see where the admonition comes in the commandment, “Thou shalt place no false gods before Me.” | |||||||

Before that Judeo-Christian Era there were many gods, and then the idea was narrowed down to one God, when in actuality “Ye are gods.” So much freedom comes when this understanding becomes part of your beingness. There’s only One. Ye are all different facets of the One. So you see, one is not higher or lower than the other, one simply IS. Can you imagine what a blasphemous statement that would be perceived as in your world today? Freedom is won or lost in what or whom you perceive yourself to be. This very perception and understanding is the key to immortality, for if one knows one is immortal, eternal, omnipotent, omnipresent – then one is free. Freedom from want, freedom from fear, freedom. How could one possibly be a captive of men’s laws, men’s ideals, men’s prejudices, when he or she fully realizes I AM? So all appearances to the contrary, this is the lesson
of today. So many of the most germane portions of the Bible are overlooked or misunderstood. Like the part of Genesis that says, “Ye are made in the image and likeness of God.” If that is really understood, what does that mean? It doesn’t say you’re less than; it says that you are made in the image of God! Or how about when Jesus said to the apostles, “Ye are gods and greater things than I have done ye shall do.” The time and energy now is more conducive to that realization because it’s 2000 years since. A lot of happenings and seeming miracles in science and technology have taken place, so it should be an easier time to understand and incorporate these ideas. The churches have held this knowledge down for control. It’s amazing that some of the quotes are still there. A holier-than-thou posture when looking at your brothers, who indeed are in the soup with you, is ill serving. They are searching. They are searching for whom they really are, and the limitations of the flesh make it seem so unlikely. And they’re struggling to find their identity. The biggest bum in the street might know more than a Rockefeller. Most of the greatest real-izers were perceived by men as eccentric morons. It’s getting more so, so that they are losing their identity. It’s so simple…if they would just throw out all the mores that are other people’s ideas they might come to the realization of whom they are. They’re not going to be ready when the day comes, and it must since all things are cyclical. So few will come out of this dream. I send the shepherds in to the sheep and they are defiled, persecuted, usually martyred. Posted in April, 2006. |
