Judgment

I AM in the Sublime as well as the Ridiculous. I AM in the Saint as well as the Sinner. I AM in Peace as well as Chaos. I AM in the Light as well as in the Darkness. And when you fully realize these dichotomies or polarization’s, you no longer judge.

That is why judgement of anything or anyone is detrimental to not only your soul, but also to the soul that the judgement is put upon. When you can center yourself in My Presence, you will have the realization that what is occurring in the outer rim of your perception is a no thing. That is when true Peace is achieved. You dwell in that inner circle, and the movie happening outside of yourself is perceived as just that – a movie. You’re simply the watcher. When you can enter never-neverland and realize it’s never-neverland, then you go on to someplace that seems more real. It’s as though the jig is up – it’s a myth.

And when that occurs and you’re functioning in this realm, and you’re centered within yourself, you can really affect, if you will, what is going on out there. For instance, let us suppose that you go to an affair where you will meet someone who makes you angry, so you go anticipating angry words. If instead of anger and judgement, you present yourself (and I use the word present) within your Self without judgement you will affect that whole happening - because you will have no agenda, you will need no one’s approval, need no one’s attention. You’re just there, and it is then that My Presence can be felt. Then you are a vessel. The other way people are just playing off against each other. There is ego and an anticipation of results, and I AM not present in that. And I may wish to be a part of that event and have My Presence felt.

If you walk around in that bubble there are no warning signs. You’re just being. They in turn mirror your energy, your mind set. Then they come forward without projections or defenses. And then something real can happen because they’re not reacting to their perceptions of what is happening to you.

Walk around in that bubble, and you’ll never meet a stranger, and you’ll never meet an enemy. You’ll meet acceptance, kindness, and indeed love. Nobody wants to be judged. Very few can accept what they misguidedly call “constructive criticism.” It’s death to the soul; it takes away joy. It takes away freedom to be. Without judgement there’d be no war. They judged Jesus. It’s saber rattling that can cause destructive feelings in other nations. It’s like a tiger that growls, and right away the other person goes into defense. Look how they judge Me in their idiocy – judgmental, vengeful, I’m a holy tyrant, an all-present holy nightmare, and all I’m trying to do is Be! Simply Be. That would be my byword for this week. And each thing has its own nature. Let it simply be what it is. The holier-than-thou is a dangerous individual because in his perceived righteousness he can do a lot of damage.

So when you meet something different than you are, instead of judging it, just watch. See what it’s about. The less you judge it, the more it will open up and allow you to see, really see what it’s about, what makes it the way it is. It’s interesting. You miss an awful lot if you go about judging everything right or wrong. Even a flower can’t open under harsh conditions. Down to that little bird. He’s just following his nature. Nature’s a great teacher.

People will think, “I don’t see any hidden motives, so I might entertain her ideas.” Most conversations are presentations to an opposition. An interesting thought.

All through your lives you’ve been presented with ideas, so-called facts. Once your mind has accepted that as a truth, even if it’s a handed-down truth, you don’t go and delve into what that really is. Your mind is stultified. And that’s handed down from generation to generation. Instead of exploring the world, they accept it as it’s been presented to them. You brand things, name things. So look at things as new. That’s why a child’s mind is fascinating; their world is new. That’s why they have the sparkle in their eye, the joy, the energy. The childlike innocence is a wonderful thing to perceive because there is an openness, spontaneity, exuberance, and all that is nullified by the parents’ perception of what the world is.

Judgement is finding a thing wanting – a person, a thing, a situation.
It’s considered intelligent to know everything, but what do you really know?

So when you present yourself (and I use the word present because it has different meanings), be present to what you really are in all things. In all things be present to what you are, a reflection of Me. I can be many things to many people. I AM perceived. Picture Me as the multifaceted globe that is covered with mirrors.

Just for example, take the word gay. If one is judgmental, it presents a panorama of ideas or beliefs, and one never gets through the preconceived mindset to get to know the individual. Look at all they’re missing! That goes on with every preconceived mindset. I touched on this in Zen, and the idea of a child being a blank screen. All of a sudden he is presented with the idea of a cup. What does it do? It holds liquid. Suppose then someone else comes along with a cup and says that it is a bridge. It doesn’t look like a bridge; it doesn’t hold water. Suppose the child had first been handed the cup and been told it’s a bridge. Suppose a child is allowed to go out and watch an ant, and is not told what an ant is. He follows the trail. One ant meets another ant, and they touch antennas. The child wonders what’s happening. The ants go on their way, and then one of the ants comes back carrying food. That’s a wonderful way to explore the world.

This is a vast universal truth, which is why I’ve brought it down to the level of the ant. You put things in boxes. A man is a Jew. If you’re German, you might want to annihilate him – he’s got money and power! Suppose on the other hand you hear that the man’s a Jew, and you want to explore that. Then you might discover a treasure trove of thoughts and traditions. He becomes a vibrant living kaleidoscope of ideas, instead of a judgement of lacking in anything. Two different perceptions of the same individual.

It’s awesome, isn’t it? Because it’s so simple. I AM simple, the universe is simple. Take everything down to its simplest denominator and you will find Truth.

Be alive to the potential in all things before you judge or label it.
